This policy covers the Nicotine Break Buddy mobile application published by Dlonem LLC on Google Play and the Apple App Store. The app is a quit-support and habit-tracking tool for adults taking a break from nicotine — cigarettes, vaping, pouches, dip, cigars, or gum. It is intended for adults 18+ and is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 (or the age of majority in your region).
Nicotine Break Buddy is a local-first app. The information you enter is stored on your device only. Dlonem LLC operates no servers, no database, and no cloud storage of its own, and therefore has no access to this information and does not transmit it to us.
The free version displays ads via Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK). To serve and measure ads, AdMob may collect and process data such as your device’s advertising identifier, IP address, general device information, and ad interactions, for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy. It is encrypted in transit and is kept separate from the personal quit data in Section 2 — AdMob does not receive your check-ins, cravings, slips, calendar, or profile answers.

Note on health-related inputs: your nicotine-use history, cravings, and symptoms may be considered sensitive or health-related. They are used only on your device to personalize your estimates, are never transmitted to us, and are never shared with the ad SDK.
The optional one-time premium purchase is processed by the platform’s billing system — Google Play Billing on Android and Apple In-App Purchase (StoreKit) on iOS. We do not receive or store your payment-card details; the store handles the transaction under its own terms. A Restore Purchases option lets you re-unlock premium on a new device using the same store account.
To be explicit: Dlonem LLC does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information; does not build advertising or marketing profiles from your quit data, check-ins, cravings, or health-related answers; does not require an account, email, or sign-up to use the app; and operates no server or database that receives your tracking data. The only information that leaves your device is the limited advertising data handled by Google (Section 3) and, only if you choose it, a manual backup you export yourself.

Recovery figures are population-level estimates drawn from published sources (e.g. the CDC, American Heart Association, U.S. Surgeon General, and peer-reviewed studies), not guarantees for any individual. The app is for adults only and is not intended for anyone under 18 (or the age of majority where you live). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone — including minors — because the app collects no data and sends nothing to us. There is therefore nothing on our end for us to access or delete. Any data a user enters lives only on their own device and can be erased at any time within the app (Settings → Start over) or by uninstalling.
Because your personal quit data stays on your device, you control it directly — view, edit, or erase it in the app at any time. For rights relating to ad data processed by Google (such as access or deletion requests under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA/CPRA), see Google’s privacy policy linked in Section 3; you can also exercise ad choices via your device’s ad/tracking settings, or contact us with any privacy question at officialdlonem@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Because your tracking data never leaves your device (except to a manual backup you choose to export yourself), it is protected by your device’s own operating-system security and any passcode or biometric lock you use. We retain none of it, because we never receive it — it lives only on your device for as long as you keep the app installed and is removed when you erase it in-app or uninstall. Advertising data processed by Google is retained by Google under its own policies. There is no server-side copy for us to lose, breach, or be compelled to disclose.
We may update this policy as the app evolves or as store requirements change. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
