Privacy Policy — Tiny Dragon Hoard
Jump to a section
1Who this applies to#
This policy covers the Tiny Dragon Hoard mobile game published by Dlonem LLC on Google Play (and the Apple App Store, if released there later). Tiny Dragon Hoard is a general-audience, family-friendly game with cartoon fantasy action (dragons breathing fire, breaking castle walls). It is a lighthearted game for a general audience; it is not specifically directed at children (see Section 8).
2What the game stores, and where#
Tiny Dragon Hoard is a local-first game. The information the game creates is stored on your device only. Dlonem LLC operates no servers, no database, and no cloud storage of its own, and therefore has no access to your game data and does not transmit it to us.
- Your progress. Gold, gems, Dragon Stones, dragons and their perks, cosmetics, estates, milestones, daily streaks, high scores, and settings are saved locally so you can pick up where you left off.
- Purchase entitlements. The fact that you bought something (for example, “owns Clear Skies”) is stored locally so your unlocks persist and can be restored.
- No account, no sign-in. The game has no login of any kind and no cloud save or online leaderboards. (Android’s system-level auto-backup may include app data in your own Google account backup, under Google’s terms — we never receive or read it. If a future update adds optional Google Play Games sign-in, this policy will be updated first.)
- Deleting your data. You can wipe your save from within the game (Settings → Reset Save Data — your purchases stay safe). Uninstalling removes locally stored data from your device.
3Advertising (free version) — Google AdMob#
The free version displays ads via Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK). To serve and measure ads, AdMob may process data such as a device advertising identifier, IP address, general device information, and ad interactions. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy, and it is kept separate from your game progress in Section 2.
- Ad content. We request family-appropriate ad content from AdMob to match the game’s cartoon tone. Where Google treats a player as a child under applicable rules, Google applies its own children’s-privacy protections, including non-personalized ad serving.
- Google’s handling of this data: policies.google.com/privacy and how Google uses information from partner apps.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings → Privacy → Ads.
- iOS (if released) — App Tracking Transparency: the app would ask permission before any tracking that uses the device advertising identifier (IDFA); if you decline, any ads shown are non-personalized.
- Region consent (EU/UK and similar): where required, you are asked for ad-consent choices through Google’s consent mechanism before any personalized ads are shown.
- Removing ads: the one-time Clear Skies purchase (also included in Dragonlord’s Boon) removes all ads, after which the ad SDK no longer serves ads in the game.
4Data we process — at a glance#
This table mirrors the answers to give in Google Play’s Data safety form (and Apple’s App Privacy questionnaire if released on iOS).
| Data | Where it lives | Purpose | Linked to you / used to track? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Game progress, purchases, scores, settings | On your device | App functionality you asked for | No — never sent to us; not used for tracking |
| Advertising ID, IP, device info, ad interactions | Processed by Google AdMob | Advertising, measurement, fraud prevention | Used by Google to serve and measure ads, under Google’s privacy policy |
| Purchase record (that you bought an item) | Google Play / Apple, on-device receipt | Unlock content; restore purchases | Handled by the store; no card details reach us |
The game collects no name, email, contacts, precise location, photos, microphone, or camera data, and requests no such permissions.
5Purchases#
In-app purchases (for example Clear Skies, the Starter Pack, Nova Pack, gem/gold packs, the Value Bundle, Dragon Stone Cache, Dragonlord’s Boon, and seasonal items) are processed by the platform’s billing system — Google Play Billing on Android (and Apple In-App Purchase on iOS if released). We do not receive or store your payment-card details; the store handles the transaction under its own terms. A Restore Purchases option re-activates your unlocks on a new device or after reinstalling.
6What we do not do#
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
- We do not collect your name, email, or precise location for our own use.
- We do not require an account, email, or sign-up to play.
- We do not upload your game progress to any server we control — we operate none that receives it.
- We do not build advertising or marketing profiles from anyone’s game activity.
7Your choices & rights#
Because your game data stays on your device, you control it directly — reset it in the game or uninstall to remove it. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK), the CCPA/CPRA (California), and similar frameworks, including regarding data processed by Google for ads. You can exercise ad choices via your device’s ad/tracking settings, and contact us with any privacy question at tinydragonhoard@dlonem.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
8Children’s privacy#
Tiny Dragon Hoard is a general-audience game and is not specifically directed at children. We take children’s privacy seriously and act in good faith under laws such as the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and comparable rules:
- The game requires no account, name, email, or personal information to play — from anyone, child or adult.
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are served by Google AdMob; where Google treats a player as a child under applicable rules, Google applies its own children’s-privacy protections, including non-personalized ad serving.
- We do not create advertising or marketing profiles from any player’s activity.
- Purchases are real money and use the platform’s standard billing; we encourage parents to use device/store parental controls and purchase authentication (Google Play → Settings → “Require authentication for purchases”).
Because the game collects no personal information and transmits nothing to us, there is nothing on our end for us to access or delete. A parent or guardian can remove any locally stored data at any time via the game (Settings → Reset Save Data) or by uninstalling, and can control spending with the device/store parental controls noted above.
9Data security & retention#
Because your game data never leaves your device (except through your own device backups, if you use them), it is protected by your device’s own operating-system security and any passcode or biometric lock you use. We retain none of it, because we never receive it. The game makes no network connections of its own beyond the ad and billing services described above.
10Changes to this policy#
If the game’s data practices ever change (for example, a future update adds a new service), we will update this policy and revise the dates above before the change takes effect. Material changes will be noted in the store listing or update notes.
